IoTeXWallet GitHub

Your IoTeX wallet, now on your desktop

A standalone app for your laptop or workstation. Send IOTX, manage tokens and vote for delegates, with no browser extension.

One window for everyday IOTX tasks

Send transactions, check your account, and act on the IoTeX network from a single app. The interface is organized into tabs: Send Transaction, Smart Contracts, Vote for delegate and Export Keystore, with your account and network always visible on the right.

See wallet tools

The wallet app showing the Send Transaction form, a transaction signing dialog, and the account panel with the IoTeX network selector.
The Send Transaction tab with the signing dialog open.

What you can do

Send transactions

Enter a recipient, amount, gas price and gas limit, add optional data, then review and confirm.

Work with smart contracts

A dedicated tab for interacting with contracts on IoTeX without leaving the wallet.

Vote for delegates

Take part in IoTeX staking and governance from the same place you see your balance.

Keep your tokens in view

Add custom tokens and see IOTX and token balances together in the account panel.

Know which network you use

The active IoTeX network is shown in the account panel, so you know where an action will go.

Back up your account

Export a keystore from inside the app, and open your transaction history from the account panel.

Transaction signing dialog listing amount, from address, to contract, gas limit, gas price and data, with No cancel and Yes sign transaction buttons.

See the details before you sign

A signing dialog lists the amount, the sending address, the recipient or contract, gas limit, gas price and any data attached. You then choose to cancel or sign.

Nothing is submitted until you confirm.

Built as a desktop app, not an extension

It runs in its own window and installs as one application. There is nothing to add to your browser, and this page is about the desktop wallet only. Forms, contract calls and long addresses get the room of a full screen.

Self-custody, stated plainly

Your keys, your responsibility

With a self-custody wallet you, not a company, control your account, and you are responsible for backing it up.

Check before you sign

The signing dialog lists the amount, addresses, gas limit, gas price and data, so you can verify a transaction before confirming it.

Habits for any wallet

Back up offline. Never type a recovery phrase into a website or share it with anyone. Use the linked project repository for desktop builds.

Download

Pick the installer for your system: .exe for Windows, .dmg for macOS, AppImage for Linux.

Questions

Is this a browser extension?

No. It is a standalone desktop application with its own window. Nothing is added to your browser.

Is there a mobile version?

This page covers the desktop wallet only.

Which file should I download?

Use the .exe installer on Windows, the .dmg image on macOS and the AppImage on Linux.

Who holds my keys?

You do. This is a self-custody wallet, so you control the account and are responsible for backing it up.

What is a keystore, and why export it?

A keystore file holds an account key in a password-protected form. Exporting one from the Export Keystore tab gives you a backup you can store offline.

Which assets can I see?

Your IOTX balance, plus any custom tokens you add to the account panel.

Can I switch networks?

The account panel shows the active IoTeX network and includes a selector, so you can check where an action will go before you send it.

Will I see fees and details before I send?

Yes. The signing dialog lists the amount, sender, recipient or contract, gas limit, gas price and data before you choose to sign.

Can I vote for delegates?

Yes. The Vote for delegate tab lets you take part in IoTeX staking from the same window.

Where is my transaction history?

Open History from the account panel on the right side of the app.
